Tyrese Devon Haspil, the former personal assistant of Fahim Saleh, have been arrested in connection to the brutal killing of the Gokoda founder. Recall that AllNews had reported the gruesome killing of Saleh in his apartment in the United States after he was trailed by a masked man.
Haspil, 21 years, was arrested over motive of killing Saleh after he was caught by Saleh embezzlling tens of thousands of dollars from the Gokada founder. However, Saleh didn’t report the alleged theft to authorities. According to New York Times, Saleh instead made a repayment plan for Haspil in order to recover the funds.
Haspil will be charged in a criminal complaint with second degree murder and other crimes by the cops. Note that while the identity of the killer remain unknown, CCTV camera caught the killer stepping out of the elevator and going back after the killing. The killer was said to be wearing black with mask on.
Saleh’s body was said to have been dismembered by the killer as his torso was exposed in the living room alongside a construction bags. His arms and legs were removed, while plastic bags containing body parts were found in the apartment, sources told New York Post. Saleh was said to have been killed on Monday, but his body was discovered by his sister on Tuesday.
According to New York Times, Saleh’s credit card was used to pay for a car to a Home Depot, on West 23rd Street in Manhattan by the killer and to buy cleaning supplies to sanitize the crime scene. The killer returned to Saleh’s apartment on Tuesday to dismember the body, but during the act, Saleh’s sister called from the lobby of the apartment, so the killer abandoned everything and flew through the back door.
